ET&N 92 Marcion and the Two Gods

Marcion is often considered the greatest heretic of the second century, yet I am including him in the ET&N “Early Fathers” series. Why? First, because fathers aren’t always good. Second, because his contribution to the early development of Christian theology is substantial. And third, he had some of the most important things right!

    Hi,
I’ve read the interesting article on Marcion. I’m looking for a picture of the Lebaba inscription (marcionite synagogue) and i’ve seen it (if is really it) in your article. But the quality is too low to read letters. Have you a better image of that inscription (or could you give me information about where I can find it)?
    thank you in advance,
    diego

Sorry for the slow response. For some reason I wasn’t notified of your message. If you open the Marcion article and click on the picture, you’ll get the full size version (be sure you maximize the window with the image.
That’s the best one I could find anywhere.
